Slice of Life - Day 21

Tolerate

Muscles straining 
I pull and
press;
I squeeze and
separate;
I squat and
swing;
I run.

28 hours
is all it takes 
to feel
each fiber 
pleasantly
stiffen and
ache.

When did pain, 
discomfort and sweat 
become the goal 
not something to
avoid? 

Tolerate. 
It
will be over 
soon.
