Muscles straining
I pull and
press;
I squeeze and
separate;
I squat and
swing;
I run.
28 hours
is all it takes
to feel
each fiber
pleasantly
stiffen and
ache.
When did pain,
discomfort and sweat
become the goal
not something to
avoid?
Tolerate.

will be over
